The Pittsburgh Penguins are a professional ice hockey of the NHL based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The franchise was founded in 1967 and have played in the Mellon arena until they recently moved the the newly built, Consol Energy Centre. The Pittsburgh Penguins have won the Stanley Cup three times: 1991, 1992 and in 2009.
